INFORMATION:

Even though these ponds are private, certain Texas Parks and Wildlife Rules and Regulations must be followed. Bass must be at least 14" or longer and you can keep no more than 5 per day. No fishing license is required on this property. The ponds are stocked with Brim, Catfish and Bass. There are also Garfish and Alligators in these ponds. The area is a wildlife preserve for Motiva Enterprises and no animals are to be harmed or disturbed in any way. BE ESPECIALLY AWARE of the alligators. They could be aggressive during the months of August through October. Stay at least 50 yards from them or a nest. DO NOT place your caught fish on stringers in the water...put them in an ice chest or enclosed container. Alligators will eat the catch and will continue to be bothersome to others fishing for the chance to eat fish off the stringers. Small non-motorized boats are allowed in the ponds (not the reservoirs) but must be taken with you. We are not responsible for items left at the fishing club.

FOR A COMPLETE SET OF RULES OR IF YOU HAVE MISPLACED YOUR COPY OF THE RULES, CALL (409-989-7199) OR EMAIL (opera@motivaent.com). WE WILL SEND YOU A COPY.

REMINDER: THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY FACILITY. GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR KEY AND YOUR OPERA MEMBERSHIP CARD WITH YOU WHEN YOU ARE USING THE FISHING CLUB. SECURITY MAY ASK TO CHECK MEMBERSHIP STATUS.
